A sandwich kiss is when you eat a really good, huge sandwich and then kiss someone after.
You telling me about holding on for a shot with M reminded me of the quote below (from Beginners).
Hal: Well, let’s say that since you were little, you always dreamed of getting a lion. And you wait, and you wait, and you wait, and you wait but the lion doesn’t come. And along comes a giraffe. You can be alone or you can be with the giraffe.
Oliver: I’d wait for the lion.
Hal: That’s why I worry about you.
I haven’t found someone who I’d want to wait for - but I hope that when I do, like you, I’d wait for the lion as well.
Right now, I’m just waiting for you to come in. And I’ll be happy.
Grateful for friends who tolerate my incessant rambling (especially when it’s about a magical pen), drunk air-guitaring, my does-he-or-doesn’t-he monlogues, and most importantly for knowing when to tell me the truth and when to give me some hope.
My nonchalance about everything surprises me all the time, but especially now.
My favourite freshman show. Really wish it won’t get cancelled (it’s apparently very likely). But if it does, I really did appreciate the gripping writing, the great cast, the beautiful cinematography, and the best-written teenage son to come out of TV in recent years. (He hasn’t received a mental slap from me yet, which almost always happens with every teenager on TV). I also really love Jason Isaacs’ voice!! Sigh, TV Gods please give me another miracle (Thanks for saving Fringe!)
